In case you guys didn't know, I have no night vision from a concussion/bad car accident I was in about 4 - 5 years ago. I can't drive at night more than a mile or two. I cannot see anything in the dark with halogen lights. The road lines blur into the pavement.
That kind of makes it hard for us to drive the turnpike, with timing issues/finding a place to crash if necessary the second it turns dark.
But, we're going to take A1A and drive up the coast, stop once to stay overnight, so no night driving. This is a beautiful old highway, and I highly recommend it over the turnpike, if you are in Florida.
All up the coastline, and we're going to stop at all of the beaches and out of the way restaurants of our choosing. I am so looking forward to going!
Let's hope a Tsunami doesn't wipe us out for our sinful ways....
