Thankfully, it's been 2 years since I've had to change a diaper. 5 years since I had to change a particularly messy one.

I remember it took as many wipes as I needed to get the gunk off.

really messy requires 3 or more I believe. I don't really remember counting though, you got issues.

I'm a hand washer. I babysat a LOT as a teenager and was always really freaked out by poopy diapers. Easily the whole box.... or so it seemed. Plus endless scrubbing afterwards to make SURE they were clean.

I used to judge poops by how many wipes it took to clean. My boy had a couple of 10+. Daughter never exceeded 3

Sidenote, the kids always seemed to save the messy poops for me Evil or Very Mad

I tried sooo hard to forget. Actually, I did not have too hard a time with the nappies. Both my kids were prone to barfing - I have always hated that...

I was wipie crazy. It had to be sparkling clean. For my peace of mind and her comfort. So who knows? Depending on the messiness of it, possibly up to 10 even at a time.

It ranged anywhere from 2 on up to just throw the kid into the bath tub. My youngest one had a penchant for overfilling his diaper. Evil or Very Mad There would literally be crap everywhere.
