The Bluebell Ice Cream plant down the road from my house is having their annual Taste of Summer. For $2 a head you get to eat all the ice cream you want, games/facepainting for kids and live entertainment. 9a -6 today. We'll get there about 10 have two cones and be stuffed.

Blue Bell Banana Split is one of my all time favorites!!
Wow. I am really jealous! Blue Bell, Barbecue, and Southern Hospitality are just a few things I miss.
Mosquitoes, heat that will melt your shoes to the pavement, and high electricity bills in the summer are things I don't.

We had a great time. The girly made it to the final four in a hula hoop contest with Radio Disney, then they called the mothers up. We thought we were going to get their prizes or something....NO. We had to hula hoop for the big prize winner, tickets to Herbie Fully Loaded. We didn't win.

Don't feel bad...I can't hoola hoop to save my azz...but I'd have loved eating the ice cream! MMmmmmmmmmmm
