I have given the subject a bit of thought, and I would like to submit an idea.
Now I am not trying to compare websites, so please forgive me for mentioning another site.
Run0 has an adult forum/club named Coed Locker Room. You have to apply to the moderator for membership to that particular club/forum, even if you are a member of the site. The moderator needs to have some assurance you are over 18 and that you understand the rules.
This prevents minors from seeing inappropriate material, and those that are offended by such material simply need not apply for membership to that club/forum. I am not sure if this (Running Forums) version phpBB supports this option.
Now at this point, two ideas present themselves. Either you can add such a club/forum, or of course we can take the off color material to Run0 and post it.
I understand and respect the opinion of some RR members, and this is just an idea to help satisfy both camps.
If you think I'm off base, please delete this thread.

I was not advocating porno.. 
I was trying to think of a way to have adult dialoge without offending anyone...

I know you weren't. I just associate prono with "adult material". That's just me, and I was joking, I just left out the smilie.
I understand the concept and the idea, but I come to this board because it has the downhown, innocent feel. It is part of the allure.

OK, I understand that. I suspect there is at least one other person who feels the same way.
This would be an argument to take the more risky stuff elsewhere (another site), and that's fine.

1.....we can get a little "frisky" here, but it's never been anything that I'd be afraid of my little ones seeing. If I wanted that.....there are other "running" websites that provide that. As I "do" have a son that has taken up running, I "do" like the idea that he can come here and discuss his new "thing" with adults.
I'd hate to think that I wouldn't of had to the opportunity to get to know someone like Timruns because the mature content of this board kept him away.

I do something similar on a website I run.......We have Bill's Blower Box where you have to have your birthdate in your profile and certify that your over 18 in order to get access to that forum.....works pretty good!

I think the idea has merit. Obviously PH isn't going to advocate a porn forum here, but why not something along the lines of "kiss-and-tell"? I think that's really what raises the hackles, well, for me at least. I'll admit, I do get wide-eyed at the parts of people's lives they broadcast to the world-wide web which for me personally are intimate, private and no-tellin' kind of stories/topics. Yeah, a kiss-and-tell forum would be an appropriate corner to keep threads of that nature.

Let me AGAIN make this point...I AM NOT ADVOCATING A PORN FORUM!!!!
The kiss and tell concept sums things up rather well.
This would also be a place for rather odd and disturbing video clips of peoples tongues....
