Which do you prefer when you get your grilling on?

Gas grilling for me. It is just easier to get it going although my grill has been acting up lately so the flame isnt very consistent

We use our outdoor smoker mostly.
Best briskets, turkey, and fish on the smoker.
Otherwise, we like gas grills.
We did find a neat table top/self standing grill that looks a lot like a George Foreman grill. It's big, but portable. I can even make pancakes on it. Great for camping!

I am totally over the whole charcoal thing. What a big pain. Gas is much more convenient......

We used to be big time charcoal grillers until I backed over our charcoal barbie with an Isuzu Trooper. Now we use gas and the BBQ stays on the deck!
It was actually pretty funny for a while when we kept trying to use the squished barbie. The legs were all buckled and it took about ten minutes of very careful arranging to get them to hold up the weight of the grill. Then you had to place your meat veeerrrry carefully or the whole thing, smoking briquets, grill and dinner would end up strewn across the driveway.

Gas, but I prefer to throw in wood chips to give whatever's grilling more flavor.

It's all about the charcoal, baby.
The satisfaction of producing a perfect hamburger despite ashes flying everywhere, uneven heating, and lighter fluid spilled on your shoes cannot compare to flipping a switch on a gas grill.
