Who was more wild in their youth: you or your 'rents???
I have it on excellent authority that the Bible toting, Bible verse sharing, sweet, tiny little gray haired gramma that is my mother had a very youth.
She outdid me hands down!!!!
I think my in-laws did too.
Am I THE most boring person on this planet?

i'm lucky to be alive.
and i should add that "youth" here will be defined as post-marriage, not high school (nerd) and college (coming out nerdom). but alas the poo hit the fan when i said "i do" and i outdone.

My mom was a goody two shoes. Me and the old man were probably neck and neck as far as misbehavior. My siblings were mere blips on the radar screen of hell-raising.

I'm probably somewhere in between. My dad used to belong to a local motorcycle gang. He say's it was a motorcycle "club" but he's full of crap. As a teenager my mom stole her dad's car and drove to her grandparents house in Indianapolis.

Different times call for different measures. I'd say I out-did them for the sheer fact of what is 'accepted behavior' these days as opposed to back then.

Wild was banned in Wobegon back in the '40s.
/it's always been more fun to point fingers and laugh at the stupid overrated stuff other people called being wild.

My parents weren't nuts when they were growing up, so it wasn't that tough to surpass them.
But I had nothing on my sisters. My oldest sister and a friend of hers faked a kidnapping in front of Green Bay's largest department store (right in the downtown area). It made the papers, and got the FBI involved. Realz.
