Have any of you ever used one of the online logo design firms like LogoWorks.com, LogoTwister.com, TheLogoCompany.net? Do a Google search on "Logo Design" and you will see several companies that all look the same.
Basically you pay a fee ($200 - $300 appears to be the going rate) and you get multiple graphic designers to develop a logo for you (or your company). There is a revision process and then they provide the final logo to you in a variety of formats for your use (web page, letterhead, etc.). All of this is do online and through e-mail, so you don't actually talk with the graphic designer.
Thoughts? Concerns?

I wouldn't do it. There's alot to be said for being able to share your vision with someone face to face.

I bet if you did the math a face to face with a local designer would be about the same price.

I didn't realize our own PH had graphic design skills. Thought he was a code jockey only.
