(But if not for a former stoner/campus pizza shop owning neighbor who loved to blast the crap out the screen doors of our adjoining balconies but amazingly enough was a pretty cool guy - and I am baffled given his choice in music, and I'd say yes).

Disagree! I don't think the drunk college kids would be it. Just my opinion. I always got drunk with Jimmy Buffett in my college years. Ok...I must confess...I still do. I guess I will die always being a Parrot Head!

You know, its interesting, college this time is actually very sobering. I'm staying sober on purpose because I want to learn more in class, I really like them (who knew?) as opposed to drinking to forget the hell of my classes it becomes more and more clear that cheryl was the only one oblivious to the fact that finance was not the career for her... 
How can you not like all of his songs??? Okay, I'll give you "I am I said" I do hate that one, but "Cherry Cherry" and "Solitary Man" and "Cracklin' Rosie" and my personal theme song now that I live in Texas, "Kentucky Woman" 
What about other cheesy older guys? Tom Jones anyone? Barry Manilow?
