Hi, I found this site linked from Coolrunning.com where I just introduced myself today. So I figured I would give an introduction here too.
I am a 30 year old mom of 10 month old twins that seriously needs to lose those last baby lbs. I had completed the C25K a few years ago and ran my one and only 5K then soon after got distracted and put my running shoes away.
now that I am looking to get back into shape I have been walking with the double jogger for a couple of months and climbed on the TM yesterday to see what I could do. I did alot better then I thought I would and it sure did feel good to work up a sweat. I have decided to kind of step into the middle of the C25k and work up from there.
I am on my way to the running store tomorrow for a new pair of shoes since mine are ancient and dusty. I am very excited about committing to a program and I look forward to asking lost of dumb newbie questions here as I move along.

Yes!!! Welcome to our little forum, we love it here.
reading your post reminded me of something I just read. a lot of people give up on exercise within the first 6 months. It seems once someone does a training program that culminates in running a 5k there just isn't much out there to keep that person going. Sooooo, you might want to pick up this book: Getting Real about Running
it's got lot's of great stuff in it, and addresses women's running issues very well.
keep hanging around here too, good advice, and lot's of fub

I really appreciate the welcome from everyone as well as the book suggestion (thanks Keltic63)
Went out today and picked up a brand new pair of Brooks Ariels. Same shoes I had used in the past but had to go up to a wide
I'm going to try and start breaking them in tomorrow.

An identical twin here (fellow member here is Cappy), I too am a father of twins (fraternal) that turn 3 this month
Running is possible with twins you just have to learn to make the time or at least find the time.
Welcome.
