Has anyone used Active.com to register for a race. I am looking to do a race in Wilmington in July and they only offer online registration.

Did you feel comfortable sending them your personal information.

I usually do. You are sent reminders before the race which is kind of a plus. It's not so comprehensive, though, so I always check my local running site too.

Just don't get suckered into that little 'bonus' package they try to push on you.

I've registered twice that way and didn't have any problems. It was nice to do it this way. Very Happy

I feel obligated to interlude here, since they sponsor me!

You are safe with Active.com. I have registered with them many many times and I have never had a problem. As a matter of fact, I have always registered for my races with them.

Me and Carole Sharpless. Top age grouper.

All the time. Though I hate their little surcharge.

i had a few issues with them double and triple charging me for registrations. then i had issues trying to get a real person to talk to to resolve things (mainly because they are on the west coast).

i do like them for looking up races and events though.

Sheldon...the date on that picture is 08/13/2004. Almost two months from now. When did you become a fortune teller? Is that a side gig? I bet it calms your race nerves?

You gotta look close, but it says 6/13/04 11:30. The picture was taken at the Georgia Rock ang Rollman Half IM. Although, knowing where I placed before the race would make it a lot easier to sleep the night before. (Unless I did bad. Sad )
