I barely missed out on a Gold medal at my company's parking lot Olympics at lunch today.
The Gold for Shaving Cream Filled Balloon Shotput would have been mine if it wasn't for that meddling fresh out of college new guy.
I did, however, disrupt the Water Floatie Ring Discus event by tackling a member of my team in mid throw while yelling "The end is near!"
Today's lunch really made me feel closer to El G, Pre, Meb, and Zatopek. Although, I would have liked to have felt closer to May and Walsh.
May and Walsh celebrate their Gold medal.
