I am pretty conservative in a lot of my beliefs, church should be formal, I always where pants, shirts and tie, suits when I am speaking or more visible such as ushering.
Pay off early is good fiscal sense in my mind.

I wear khaki shorts and a nice shirt to church except if I am reading at the mass, then I wear pants and a nice shirt.
Tie only at Christmas and Easter

Fully agree. When I was on active duty I wore my dress blues to Christmas and Easter Mass

kind of. I'll wear shorts and a polo to church when it's hot out.

I don't attend church so I can't answer that question.
I'm always on time and annoyed by others that are late.
Our house will be paid off in 6 years.
I do subscribe to the "if it's too loud you're too old" mentality. Of course, I think most modern rock music is crap.
Nah, I'm just old.
