As most of you know I spend anywhere from 10 to 12 hrs a
day on a PC here at work writing code or or fixing other
PC.

Part of the reason I resisted for so long not buying my own system
knowing it would be a a huge waste of $$$$, and I was content
having an X-Box for entertainment..

Well a funny thing happened 4 weeks ago.

After putting in 7 days a weeks for 6 weeks I had a little extra
cash. Add a income tax rebate check and I decided to invest in
a Dell laptop with all the trimmings...

One week later it arrived. Very Happy

One week after that I get connect to Broadband/DSL/Cable. Mr. Green

Needless to say my running has suffered a bit.

I even created a office this past weekend.

Welcome to the dark side. I told you you'd be assimilated.

Technology is good. It can be your friend. Repeat this mantra. daily. Mr. Green

Glad you're back. I was just wondering this weekend where you'd gone.

You said it.... it has been.....well different... Smile

thanks by net time here at work has suffered due to travel, meetings, travel. meetings and auditors (still here) add to that a mid Aug go-live deadline on our new subscriber application has made for some pretty serious long days here and some longer days spent at work on the weekends.

Had to cancel my Canada trip next month due to some train the trainier sessions planned and can't take the time off.

Its been a different experience and look forward to some future RR chat sessions.
