Several big projects are about to start here at work.

Just found out today several of the MBA's who I've been pissing and moaning about have been campaiging to get me on their projects. One even wrote up a business case as to why I should be bought out of my contract and hired as a very high level consultant. The business case was so deep I thought about getting my hip waders out! Mr. Green

Makes me feel like a jerk - but I'll get over it.

I wonder if it's a trick! Twisted Evil

Nice to be needed. Obviously they recognize talent.

Now ask yourself: if the project fails, who goes down in a blaze of glory you or the MBA ?

yehbut like a said yesterday I can be lease rather cheaply - now if they get me hired as a consultant {buzz word around here for someone highly paid} will I have to dress like them and drink the expensive coffee or can I still go with the wacky computer geek look?

Actually I might sorta get to pick and choose which project initially -- one project has already tanked and they're trying to save it - the upside to that one is if it fails it's already thought of as dead but if we save it {which really should not be that hard} we'll be hero's.

Be forewarned...it is a ploy!!!!

They teach us this in MBA 101, how to lure unsuspecting computer geeks into working on a project with us that we know is going to tank so that we can then pass the blame onto them! Twisted Evil

The Art Of War rocks. Especially for everyday life.

Good luck on this WTR. I have become so cynical in the past few weeks. I really hope this turns into a huge blessing for you and allows you to maybe mentor these youngsters in leadership and comportment.
