Posted: 03/14/03 - 02:41 Post subject: Official: Ironman Florida Competitor
I got the call today, i'm an official competitor! Thank you very much to all who donated and all who thought about donating, i raised $1000 for the charity slot and now i'm in!
I owe some of you posters, and i'm working on that, since i lost my job the poster thing took a major turn for the worste, but never fear! Jed is here!
In two months i have a half ironman, then 6 months after that, the real deal. My buddy carl who i wanted to do the race with originally is also an official competitor now, it's a dream come true!
and to top it all off, i ran today without pain in my hip (for those of you not following my journal, i was trying ti even out my gait, but was having horrible pain in my left hip) but today i ran 'old style' no matter how inneficient running on the outsides of my feet is, i can run without pain! It was a good day, and i have a lot of training ahead of me.
Thanks again everyone.
Jed

WOO HOO!!!! Congrats, Jed, that's awesome! Talk to xtremrun, he did the race last year and can probably tell you all about it. I think he still posts over at Multisport.
