You got one?
Looks like we're doing a repeat of last year with an after work meal at one of mgmt's homes. Seemed novel last year, but if this is how it'll always be, it's kinda lame.

Ours is next week. Craps, blackjack, Texas Hold'em, Roulette, and karaoke for when you're out of chips.
Also networking everyone's PS2s and Xbox's on 4 different floors for all-out mayhem.
Pot luck and a bit of booze in there for good measure as well.

we have a squad party at a nice restaraunt out of town (dont need the locals bothering us)
Always a nice time.
The department has a formal dinner in January at a local hotel that donates the entire dinner including drinks as a way of giving thanks. The guy who owns the hotel is a major property owner in town and is a good friend of the department also.

That sounds like fun!
We aren't having one this year, they asked us to hold off on having one. I'm thinking they have something up their sleeves. Last year we had a party with all the liquor paid for, Gave us $1000 bonus, gave us a $100 gift card to Future Shop, a $50 Gift Card to Chapters/Indigo....
And they've dubbed this year the 'Year of the Employee' So i think there will be quite the surprise at our Dec. 22nd Xmas meeting... I hope anyway

Serious question... how does an individual or a company become a good friend of the rtpd?
