...are you going to dress up for Halloween? If so, what are you going to be? What about your kids? Do they already have their costumes picked out?

I'll be doing the Marine Corps Marathon on Halloween so I'm not sure if I'll feel like taking my son out at ALL that evening. But, our church has the most AMAZING party. Last year we brought home tons of candy and even a goldfish! They had a game to play in almost every room of the church. And, as many of you already know, I go to a pretty large church so it was quite the scene.

Our anniversary is on the 30th (11 years).

The lovely bride is actually off on Halloween this year so you will be home to take the kids around, whilst I distribute candy.

I hate Halloween, can't you tell?

BTW, last Halloween was my 30th birthday and I was totally depressed and didn't decorate my house at all. I waited until the last possible minute to finish this costume. If I had more time, it would have been better.

That would explain the basic black.

Never dressed up once I got to my teens. Can't do it now as by the time I get home, the kids are pretty much done with T/T.

Yes, I'm going to wear a costume this year.

Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. (I think).

I've lived in the sticks for the last 14 or so years..no trick or treating when houses are miles apart. I'd probaly have the Amish visit, and I would think it was kids dressed up like the Amish or something.

So that means the temperature drops from 90 to 80!

Actually,
I think it is my turn to take the kids out. I think Jason want's to be a power ranger and Kaylee is still undecided. I doubt I will get dressed up.

I have a 10k race on the 31st...apparently the race directors encourage costumes..but the thought of running a race in a bulky costume seems, well, silly plus I would imagine severe overheating..

You just have to be creative. I thought about going as a smurf one year and just painting myself blue or wearing blue tights, blue shirt, and white shorts.
