Anyone know where I can find the nutritional content of something like an egg? Or certain fruit? Vegetables?

Is it necessary to sign up for their free journal? Or is there just a table somewhere on the site with that info? (I didn't see it.)

we have a pocket guide "the calorie king's Calorie, fat and carbohydrate counter" it will be the first thing jr. packs this fall when he leaves for college. it doesn't really spell out nutritional values of foods but it will give you all the numbers, even has a fast food menu.

The USDA has a database for nutritional info that you can download.

I've got an account. They never send me any spam-type stuff though.

This one looks pretty simple.

type your food item in the search box in the middle of the page

That is a great site. I recommend it all the time at the gym. Tons of great info there.

I too have never had spam from fitday.

There's nothing like journaling on fitday that will put the truth up in your face about what you're eating and burning.

I have tried that in the past but I have such a hard time entering all the stuff I eat during the day. I love the idea but I just don't do a good job of remembering what all I ate each day.
