Have all the troops out of Iraq by Christmas, why wait? If we’re going to cut and run we ought to at least be efficient about it.

But you do realize we should never have been in Iraq in the first place. By seeking "regime change" we destablized a government and are directly responsible for the carnage against Iraqi civilians. The difference in the Republicans and Democrats is this:

When Democrats figured out Iraq was not a threat to the U.S. they changed their position, and began looking for a way out, whereas the Republicans were willing to continue the charade regardless of the number of American and Iraqi lives are wasted to hide their coverup.

And that is what makes this military action so despicable. We have lost credibility among our allies and enemies as a result. We are leaving Iraq. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld along with Haliburton ought to be sent the bill for the war to reimburse the American and Iraqi people.

Military already did it's job years ago (very effectively)...it is not up to the military to play policeman or fight someone else's battles.
