In our office there is a constant complaint about the thermostat. It used to have one of those locking cages around it so you couldn't adjust it. Well it was slitted at the top so we would just stick our scales in there and adjust it. Boss got PO'd and had another box put around it with no openings. Mad Now he keeps it freezing cold in here just to irritate us. Yesterday he turned it up really high so that it was sweltering in here all day. Come in today, it's back to freezing. I just got up and walked around the corner, and sitting there on top of the thermostat box is 2 cups of ice water. LOL
(the best part is, it actually warmed up a few degrees!) LOL

The bickering over temp is constant in our office areas. Mostly it's the women gripe because it's too cold and the men gripe it's too hot. We've women running space heaters in their offices in July and August.

that is exactly our office. And I currently have a space heater under my desk and running, on this the 22nd day of July in balmy Houston. I do see the irony, really, but its not normal to keep any thermostat below 70.

I guess he's got a lot of work to do there if he can spend that much time worrying about the thermostat
