Try this Riff-Raffters, give an example of something really nice, and something really bad, which are similar except for 1 missing or changed detail. For Example
There is nothing better after a run, than having a refreshing shower and putting on a nice fresh clean pair of socks.
There is nothing worse than having a shower after a run, and realising you didn't bring a fresh pair of socks with you.

There is nothing better than having your son purchase his own home and move out.
There is nothing worse than having your son purchase his own home and find out you have to rewire part of it, landscape it, do repairs, scrape wallpaper, and help with the heavy furnature moving....

There's nothing better than seeing all three of your kids go off to their first day of school, being proud as they walk to their classrooms.
There's nothing worse than the feeling the tugs at your heart as you see your last one, your baby, make those steps too.
That will be today as I send them all off to school.

There's nothing better than having a best friend in life to share with, talk to and relate to on all things...totally connect and accept you for who you are.
There's nothing worse than never having the ability to be with and and share with your best friend due to distance and circumstance.
(But what I've learned...with best friends though...is that friendships always pick up where they left off no matter what has happened between. Always. And it just doesn't go away. I miss my best friend/s.)
