Since I hit the jackpot by getting everything at 50% off at the local bike shop I've done some recent rethinking of my cycling routine.

I got the following things that should cover just about every riding situation.

30W headlight and 3 more rear blinkies. 2 of them are the super bright blinkies from Cateye and they're really bright. That covers riding in the dark.

Arm warmers, 2 pairs of tights and a good wind breaker. That should cover riding in the cold and wind.

1 rain jacket and my cheap mountain bike for those days I just have to ride in the rain.

1 Cycle-Ops Fluid2 trainer for those kick butt intervals sessions and riding on those days when I just need to stay near the house.

I should be all set now. The only thing I think I may still need is a balaclava for the wind chill from riding in the cold.

Think I may try a winter commute next week. thumbs up

Cool.

The wife asked yesterday if we could get another trainer so we could spin together (cheaper then a tandom). Can you say Fluid2 Cool

Really like mine. Smooth and quiet. Easy to clamp in to and out of. More resistance than I can overcome. If I gear up to my hardest gear, I can only muster about 40 RPMs.
