Anybody interested in online challenges using the Nike+iPod system? If you're already part of that system and are interested in becoming part of a larger group challenge - distances, times, whatever - send me a private message or post here.

If you don't have the Nike+iPod system it is a small sensor you put in the sole of special Nike shoes that communicates with your iPod Nano to track your distance, times, etc, etc, and log them online.

The shoes cost around $100, give or take. The sensor kit another $30. The iPod Nano (other models don't work) $100-$250.

If you don't want to buy the special shoes I can send you an adapter that will let you use the kit with any running shoe, Nike or not.

I have ipod nano, and I have a pair of nike running shoes, but I'm skeptical
of tracking with the sensor. I can give a try though.

Once you calibrate the sensor it's very accurate. I ran a 10K recently and it registered at 9.96K

So yeah, it works pretty good.
