Since everyone has different fitness and weight goals, I think this would be a better contest. Attaining your own goals set for yourself, all by
September 1, 2006.

Mine are:
Lose 20 lbs

Drink 64oz water daily.

Bring down my pace by 1:30

See a significant difference in my arms (appearance/strength).

good plan. i'll have to think of this.

goals that don't have much thought and are a constant thing (and in no particular order)

1) get body fat back down to low 9% consistently (lower for post workout weighings..)

2) muscle back up to 155 (i've shedded back down to 150)

3) run the half marathon

4) run a 19 minute 5k in the fall. (i've never run under 20)

5) sales manager at work, and really understand all the products i don't know about.

6) learn how to golf better. (see 5)

7) cycle to work as often as possible

8 ) stay disciplined and get lots of sleep

9) read "Infinite Crisis" comic arc. Smile

10) figure out how i can get my g/f to exercise with me Neutral

11) not be a slave to the NHL playoffs.

12) sit outside on the patio as much as possible

13) stretch more often (or at all for that matter... Embarassed )
...i think that's about it.

This sounds good. I need to get my goals together before posting them though too.

September 1st is a rather awkward date for me...nothing really going on as far as racing until November

i guess my only goal is

- build up to 5 straight weeks of 70 mpw during the summer for basebuilding

I chose September 1 because I wanted to make this a summer maintain type of contest. Of course this only applies to those of us above the equator Embarassed

I like that idea too Jenn! I will have to think of some, I know I'd also like to lose 20 by September. More really, but I'll settle for that. I'll pull something together and post later tonight.

My only thought is, this will be less of a "competition" and just more of a motivator/cheer each other along type contest?? Like how does one "win?" I like it though.. Smile

Sounds about right. Except for the needing new shoes part.
