Hey, I live in Indiana and found out a couple months ago that a new marathon is happening here in Sept of this year. Anyone else heard of it? Going to enter?? From what I can tell it sounds like it's going to be a pretty big event.

I think I answered this question...please forgive me if it appears twice...
I drove all 3 courses this past weekend and they are sweet!!!! The marathon course is flat, fast and great for a PR....There are only 2 hills which are bump in the roads at mile 7 and 9....The 1/2 marathon has a few turns but will make the race interesting...The 5K is all out fast and flat. They are incorporting a 5K nordic pole walking team/corporate/and husband and wife team challenge which means this race is for everyone. At the end of the race...party! Can't wait.......If you have not signed up, go ahead before registration closes.

This is one strange marathon - postponed, then canceled, and with an awful web site that brings to mind 419 scams. BTW, the course was terrible anyway, not that this race will ever be run...
"Sweet" indeed! Good thing I waited until registration closed...

I bet a lot of people were disappointed that the race was postponed and eventually canceled. You wait weeks, if not, months for something like this and then find out it's not even going to happen. Wonder what happened..
