OK girlz just FYI: you've seen my arms/biceps. It took me 3 months to get them like that. I spent 3-5 hours a week in the weight room but this was doing full body and abs. You will not bulk up anymore than me. My arms/shoulders are in the best shape of my life at 44. I doubt I'll enter this contest but would gladly coach anyone along. Including the mins.

Agreed, but people's bodies change at different rates.
I am not disagreeing with the fact that it will take a while. but to say that no one will bulk up more than you, isn't exactly fair or encouraging... IMHO....

I liked the idea of doing a mile challenge, trying to improve your mile time during the contest period. But we've done that before and it wasn't very well received (It was at first, but no one clocked times at the end of the month).

Maybe you misunderstood. I was speaking to Molly who was afraid of bulking up too much. I'm saying not to worry you'd need to spend lots of time and lift very heavy to bulk up. I am trying to encourage you all to do this.

I want to do a mile challenge too, but can I wait until I'm a little faster?

You were featured in Ghostbusters 3? | both of us are ectomorphs- the "hard-gainers": guys who have a thin frame, little body fat and muscle but high metabolism.
think of elite marathoners- that's how many of them are built.
