Taking mom to hospital this AM. She is getting two molars taken out by an oral surgeon. This is normally not a big deal, but at 86 years old nothing is that easy. She will be in hospital for 23 hours just to make sure all goes well.
She should be out of the hospital tomorrow AM.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Let me guess. They're only keeping her 23 so her insurance doesn't have to pay for breakfast in the morning.

I think its because they can call it "day surgery". Knowing my mom, she would get a breakfast anyway.

Mom was back in her room by 1600 today.
No problems, MD says it went OK.
Mom has a pint of Won ton Soup with rice. (I think she's also getting pudding)
