This one is for my Law & Ethics class. I need to identify three situations that are not ethical but are entirely legal. So we're looking for a situation where the behavior is clearly wrong, or immoral, but there is no law against it. I cannot think of anything off the top of my head. Any ideas?
TIA!!
Oooh, a thought. What about cheating on a test? It would be wrong, but I'm not sure a statute exists saying that it is against the law. But I'm wondering if school policy is the same as "law" for this excercise? interesting...

Not sure about this one. Under the Model Penal Code, this is considered recklessness. I don't think I can use it. (Driving while intoxicated has a few paragraphs dedicated to it in this particular chapter, but it says nothing about limits.)
But thank you!!

Actually, this involves tort law, a civil issue. If my spouse did this, I could sue on the grounds of Alienation of Affection, if the cheating lead to him not wanting to have relations with me anymore. I could also sue the woman on Enticement of a Spouse, if her intent is to diminish our marital relationship, if she encouraged him to leave me, if he moved in with her, etc. Also, there is Intentinal Infliction of Emotional Distress, Interference with Contract Relations, and Intrusion. Who knew!!
Since this chapter is dealing with criminal law, I might be able to use it, but I'll check with the prof.
Thanks!

Since they're not typing it up in the word doc and then explaining it, they're not doing my homework!

I think in the US it pretty much is. Too bad it's so easy to send spam from outside the US borders.

Thank you. I was going to use "selling email addresses" as an unethical act, but apparently that is against the law too under this act.
