Rush Limbaugh is going to work on the espn pregame show?
I'm not saying it won't work. I'll give him a chance, but I don't know...
any other thoughts?

IMHO, Rush is great at NFL commentary. I think the doubters will be surprised. He worked a good while for the KC Royals and knows a lot about pro sport circles. Plus he's genuinely interested in the guys and won't be so filled with "back when I was playing" like we get from so many ex-player turned commentators.

Dennis Miller set the bar pretty high for absolute broadcast disasters. Not a big Rush fan, but I rarely watch pregame shows anyway.

He is excellent. Since he did play the game he knows a little bit about the ins and out, albeit not at the pro level. He is an excellent communicator though and is entertaining also.
What the heck, I think he will be good.
