I didn't see the whole thing, and haven't studied all the picks yet. With all the Europeans drafted, it probably won't make much difference.

However, my team, the Lakers, I think did very well getting Cook and Walton.

How'd your teams do?

Does this mean the end of GP in Milwaukee?

My Wolfies got themselves a couple 'projects', one of them being a 2-yr kid from the U of MN, who is a Northern Minnesota boy. I couldn't be more pumped. I think Kevin McHale in the front office is a genius and he is gonna fill the Target Center with outstate fans this way. Not sure how smart it was talent-wise, but business-wise, I gotta hand it to him.

I spent a solid week researching this one, Coach...There were some MAJOR surprises...like the Heat picking up Wade? that wasn't supposed to happen (makes me believe that they'll lose Eddie Jones).

Chicago nabbing Henrich instead of Ford? Another shocker! They were in LOVE with TJ! But I was happy cuz he dropped to the # 8 spot and the Bucks, of course, grabbed him!

other than that, not much to comment. Was VERY surprised to see Lampe (from Poland) drop down to the second round! Some 'experts' had him going #5 to the Heat! He must have had some terrible workouts or something...

And coach, your Lakers picked up some savvy seniors. Nice move!

I don't like Ford. He's too small and can't shoot. I guess in that case, he fits Jordan's plans. Evil or Very Mad I don't like Jordan either...

We should have either traded down or just taken Reece Gaines. He'd fit in better.

So, what if we wind up keeping Payton? I think Sammy's gone for sure, but with Jordan around, Payton may decide to stay. Then we really wasted the pick.

I don't follow the NBA much and understand the draft even less...but will someone please tell me where Keith Bogans is? I thought it was Milwaukee but apparently not? dunno

And for what its worth Rando, my rabid UT family thinks TJ went for the draft too early in his career, that he has some developing to do.

yeah, we'll see how the Ford thing pans out Rando. If we lose payton or Cassell, he'll be a good back-up. We still haven't addressed our need for a rebounding 'banger' but to be honest, at the 8th spot, there wasn't really any options...Sweetney and collison may be good bangers but they weren't 'worthy' of the 8th pick in the draft.

Let's see what kind of moves they make over the summer. Payton's agent has gone on record saying there's a better chance that he'll be in Milwaukee than some place else (we'll see about that...of course).

Let's just dump some of that useless weight we have and I'll be happy (Mason y Caffey)...
