 Posted: 04/05/06 - 13:14 Post subject: My workday, a saga told in smilies.
 because of a computer  and my coworker wanted a $150K contract modified into a $400K contract and then  , leaving me with no guidance whatsoever so I  and did my best to get it done by noon so the client could  to his client. While all this is going on my boss calls and wants me to  at someone through her e-mail on the  and take care of a bunch of other stuff so her job doesn't end up like  .
So I  and  .
I guess I should take comfort in the knowledge that they can load me up with stuff and it won't  .
Now I need to either  or  that this afternoon I get to do my own job.

I call in for jury duty and the message said not to show up until 12:00 . I arrive and we fill out paperwork and sit..  , and sit..  , and sit...  , and sit.. 
Then they tell us we have been picked for a criminal trial...  ..but with the questions they are asking us I am thinking NO WAY are they gona pick me...the defense would have me shot! .
The call out the numbers of the jury who will sit for the trial...and I am number 4.. , and the case could last thru Friday...
So in what kind of defense do you NOT STRIKE a guy who is a former Law Enforcement Officer, a former Fire Policeman, knows at least half the cops in the county, has friends in the FBI, Treasury and State Police, and is a "Quasi-Judge" in the next town over from the court.....
I hope when we hear evidence, the trial is over quick and we do not end up being sequestered over the weekend....
