I don't even remember what we did on Friday. Saturday, yard work and selling booze. Sunday, yard work and football. Not too exciting, but better than something bad, no?

So, you had a 'liquor stand' in your yard for all the neighborhood kids?

great. Got to spend time with my bro, sis-in-law and nephew, they stayed with us Thurs and Friday. My nephew is the cutest thing. He's starting to talk and was so fun to play with. Had fun Saturday hanging out with friends watching football all day. Got some stuff done around the house yesterday and we are almost done with the nursery. Very nice weekend indeed, just sad it went by so fast!!!!!!

Bucket flu Friday night leads to a nearly all day groggy in bed Saturday, but full recovery on Sunday with a decent run followed by spousal pleas to rearrange furniture (a definite non-dude choice of fun) ..How 'bout dem Vikes?

Friday :: Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Reception hall was the best yet. Good attendence from the cadets. They all looked so shard in their uniforms. Their parade went off without a hitch. Good speaker too (although he's a major in the Marines and holds a master's degree and he's only a year older than me and he just ran in the Marine Marathon in DC.) Food sucked (I'm going to volunteer to cook next year. Food has sucked every year. Son's date was an hr. late and then didn't eat the dinner because she had already eaten before. I also found out that after we left she made a big scene and embarrassed him.
Saturday :: Long run. Uneventful otherwise.
Sunday :: Church. Uneventful otherwise.

You can't just leave that one dangling out there. We want detail.
