So I'm in the process of buying a house, a 35 yr old bi-level on a one acre lot out in the country by most people standards (not Kimba's  ) I've been out to look at different things a couple of times in the past week since no one is living there. There is a rooster who shows up every time I do and follows me around like a shadow.
Today I offered to make peace with him, covered my hand in my sweathshirt sleeve and offered it up for him to either peck the hell out of, perch on or totally ignore. He chose option no. 1 and latched on and the next thing I know he's hanging off my arm flapping like crazy. He thinks he's a badass.... little does he know that I lived next door to, fed and took care of ostriches for a couple of years. He better clean his act up or he's gonna be the main attraction at a cookout sometime soon......
