I’ve made a huge mistake! My new running shoes are causing me sore calves. I’ve paid them a lot and I expected full comfort and I’m really considering the idea to return them and complain about this. Has something like that ever happened to you? Can you give me a suggestion what to do now? I’ve bought these shoes online but the size fits.

Your last sentence explains it all. Never buy shoes online, no matter what people say. The size is important but it’s not the only thing that matters. You really have to try the shoe before you buy it. The fact that it fits perfectly to some of your friends doesn’t mean anything to you. And when you hear that the shoe is comfortable, don’t think that it goes for everybody. It only means that it’s comfortable for that particular person. What if your foot is wider than his? Or has a higher arch? Buying a running shoe is actually a very complex thing. You should try to walk in the shoe before you buy it. You have to see if your toes hit the edge. Also pay attention to your ankles because certain shoes hit the ankles and cause injuries.
