After the orthopaedist said my weight was FINE and to stay as light as possible if I am to have surgery. (and after Larry was told to lose weight before his hip surgery, and keep it off).

I caught him sneaking butter into my marinara sauce last night. What would you do? SHort of cooking all of your own food, which destroys the idea of cooking/having dinner together in the first place.

I'm not allowed to run anymore!

I finally found a park today with a public pool so I can swim laps, and then there is the beach too. I'm not supposed to be eating a lot of fat because of the pancreatits I had a few months ago. I reminded him of that too.

Unless he is putting multiple sticks of butter in the sauce, et al, a little butter isn't going to pack on the lbs.

Well, he is a former chef. We like to cook together. He just thinks I am too skinny (which I am NOT, according to the doctor). He wants me to have a big fat booty, which I have never had in my life, so no matter what I do I'm not going to have one. I don't know where this obsession of a big butt came from, but it's not happening. I'd think he'd be happy that I am in shape and not putting on a bunch of weight (since I can't run, I ride my bike or swim, but it's not the same). At least I'm not sitting on my butt all day eating since the arthritis got worse. I'm in pain, but I am doing what I can do to stay healthy. I'd think he'd be happy that I care about my appearance! I don't starve myself or anything, BTW. I do eat, very healthily.

I don't get it! Confused
