apparently got swept out to sea during Katrina.
Nothing like a $223 bill to brighten your morning (It's for 2 months).

That is about one month for me. LIPA is one of the highest priced utilities in the country.

At least go down to just one toilet running... just use one toilet and turn off the water to the others. To turn it off, turn the knob behind the toilet clockwise.

and you can fix the running problem for about $30 max. You might have to replace the ball, chain and flapper.
If you have a Habitat for Humanity store, you can get a new toilet for about $50.
