Posted: 03/26/04 - 14:50 Post subject: My boss is playing dirty tricks
Ok, so I set up this meeting for my boss and I at this site that is about 2 hours away. I set it up for Wednesday of next week. Boss comes back with "Can't we do it on Monday?" I hate going to this particular site on Mondays, which is the only reason I scheduled for Wednesday. So I sighed and said I'd try and change it. So I reschedule for Monday at 8AM. I schedule it for 8AM, because last time I scheduled for 9AM, and said boss came back with "9AM is too late. Can we switch it to 8AM." I then tell the boss that we are all set for Monday at 8AM, so we have to leave by 6AM. He then says "8AM? Why so early?" which causes my facial expression to mimic that of the AFLAC duck when he hears that old man say "And they give you money, which is as good as cash."
Fast forward to 5 minutes ago, when he has one of my co-workers come up to me and say "You'll never guess what. Gary wants to change that meeting back to Wednesday." My reaction involved some arm waving and this expression: , but fortunately no expletives. Then I hear my boss' evil laugh. He tells me "I just wanted to see what you'd do."
Heh. Heh heh...heh......hm. Yeah. Very funny.

Oh, yes, THAT would go over well! Especially considering that I just received my bribe...oops, I mean raise.

RLAG:
Suck down another Klondike Bar, then retrace the Shamrock Shuffle course. That should eliminate the bad vibes from work. BTW, now that you have a raise - you're bringing the coffee to Prospect Moutain right ?
