It wasn't nearly the laugh fest I thought it was going to be. I can't believe they sissied it up by playing up to the creepy family.

I was nearly at the point where I was going to watch PBS. But they had the finals of the Chicago Public (High) Schools basketball tournament. So I watched a show (actually more for background noise) I have never watched prime time...

man, the S was hittin' the fan for a few moments with Randi's mom -- that whole family looked so pathetic sitting there. i was wondering how Fox was gonna get out of that one--they were all so mad at her.
yeah, it was mushied-up at the end but i think that's the only way they were gonna dig themselves out of that "family in distress; hating daughter; who gives a crap about the money" hole they dug.

Isn't it supposed to be "SWEEPS" month?
That was the absolute worst case of programming in one evening I've ever seen. There was nothing I wanted to watch. nothing. The only reason I watched that was I was up feeding the baby his bottle.
Wish I could read a book while doing that, but no hands.

yeah, we tuned in cuz my girlfriend had been saying it was funny and stuff...
and then it was all serious, and my parents watched with us, and we're like "what the hell?"
lol but boy was it ever money when the dad said "it's not about the money, but you go ahead and finish talking dear"
i felt bad for the actor/husband guy lol. laughing nervously in the ceremony, "aha i got you good... right?...right?"
it was kinda week. i noticed the family still didn't really perk up until they got the half million

It was wrapped up nicely. The mom proved again that she is an absolute snob. Dad is pretty cool. He decided to stand by Randi.
I enjoyed the ending and was pleased with the whole show.
