Well, after we got home I thought it was all over but the clothes washing and some putting away stuff. I was wrong in that assumption. Why you may ask ?
Married guys can relate: Ha !! and again Ha !!
Wife decides Labor Day is the perfect day to clean the drain on the tub in main bathroom. So we clean off the drain but... in the excitement something happens.
Needless to say I have to go into the linen closet, open the access panel and remove a piece of pipe so we can go look for a new one. Trip to Lowe's was not fruitful so I have to hit a few plumbing supply places today.
This is basically a five minute job once I get the part. And women wonder why men like to watch football, or go fishing with male friends or buy expensive toys or hang around other guys and gripe...

Found the part I needed to fix the drain. Everyone else wanted $ 40.00 for an entire kit. No one had the one piece I needed. I went to a plumbing supply warehouse in town and got the part for exactly Zero dollars !!
Since I just saved us at least $ 40.00 in parts, and not counting plumber labor costs, I have to get my wife to buy the Army Jersey I want.
