So I'm looking at some Under Armour shirts that are listed for a buck. Whoa!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3952781060&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

...but the shipping is $40. Yeah, right.

I get a bright idea. Click the "ask the seller a question" and see if he would combine shipping if I purchased two or three. Razz

Here's the email reply I got back...

USE YOUR BRAIN WHY WOULD I SELL A 50$ underarmour for 1$

Report his sorry A** to ebay. That's totally against practices, IMHO.

I like the ones who sell $1 Cell phone reception boosters and then reap the postivie feedback.

That's nuts. Don't sell it on ebay if you're concerned about not getting your price. Right there I wouldn't bid.

You know, I've done fairly well selling stuff just by starting the auction at $1 and keeping the shipping fairly low (I've sometimes lost a buck or two on shipping).

You should tell him to use HIS brain. Why would you pay $40 to ship something that weighs less than a pound??

Whoa.. you're right. I clicked around a bit and found the page to report it. All I had to do was include the item number and the Ebay police will respond in 24-48 hrs.

Another fubby thing is I posted the same thread in the Ebay forums to see what to do. Somebody named Casa_dei_cani_grandi said the same thing as Akey with emailing a reply, telling him to use his brain... LOL

So the real question now is whether Akern is leading a double life as a Spanish Ebay forum junkie? Surprised

It falls into that realm of common sense. I'm good at that. Unless of course it involves keys or vehicles.

Isn't that how some people get around selling tickets to major sporting events. The sell some piece of memorablia but included with it are tickets to the game. So technically you aren't bidding on the tickets
