very good concept and movie
Sean Connery is the "leader" of a group of people with super human powers. I wont tell you each of the powers but they are cool and work together well.
It does have a strange similarity to the justice league super heroes with the save the world theme.
Very good movie, special effects are good and idea although not unique is good
I have a feeling we will see more of these

I like the bullet rating system.
I've yet to see this, though it is in my ever-growing Netflix queue. I know that it is based on the graphic novel, though with some changes (the addition of American Tom Sawyer to the group of English literary heroes is an odd choice).

I fell asleep during this. Must be a "boy" movie.

I loved it! (Got it in my stocking for Xmas). But then, I think Sean Connery is the sexiest old guy alive.

I thought this was an excellent movie with a lot of subtleties. It definitely made me want to go read the books/stories about each character.
I found it very entertaining, and would have liked it to be more developed/more fleshed out as to the background of each character.
I would definitely see it again.

I saw this when it was first released and enjoyed it. The second time... it was pretty disappointing. It is a pretty interesting story, but the second time around, you realize exactly how cheesy it is.

If you don't know the background from each character, the movie losses a little something. The story got a little hard to follow at parts too (or maybe it was just me), but it was a good action flick and the Mr. Hyde character's CGI was well done.

The DVD does go into more background on pulling the charaters from literature. It did add a unique twist to the genre.

Really? Oh, then I definitely need to see it. The theatre version left me with a lot of questions. I could definitely see a sequel.
I thought that the Jeckyll/Hyde character would have been better for the Hulk than the cartoonish version they put out last year.

That's it. I thought it was just bad. Probably one of Sean Connery's only flops, that I've seen.

We just rented this one a couple weeks ago....I liked it and I am not a big fan of the "Spiderman" type genre, but the literary flavor made it really interesting.

Ho-hum, IMHO.
Wasn't terrible, wasn't fantastic. I wouldn't go out of my way to see this flick.
