Wife rented this on Tuesday during our snow day.
Crap.
Terrible story, incredibly hoky special effects...I hated it and actually fell asleep watching it. Mrs. coach didn't like it either.
(I did enjoy Cameron and Demi in the Bikini face off, though. )

I enjoyed it.
I agree that the plot sucked, and the special effects were hoky, but it was all a lot of fun. Nice action--although I think Bosley and John Cleese should have had bigger parts.
Demi is way believable as a bad guy, though...
It will not raise your IQ. It may in fact lower it. But it was fun to watch. Brain candy, for sure. And I liked the sound track.

I'm gonna rent it from Netflix. I think it's sitting in my queue around #15 right now.

Very hoky! But I liked it anyway. All the hoky parts made me giggle.

I loved it. I thought it was stupid and campy, and that it meant to be that way. They have a new, uncut version out on DVD, I'm tempted.
Of course, I love anything with Bernie Mac. He cracks me up.
