Who's up for it?

For various reasons, I have decided to stay in South Dakota for this fall's marathon. It's a gorgeous race!
Let me know if anyone is interested, and we can get together somewhere before and after the race.

Sorry Coach. I was seriously considering this, especially since my wife grew up in Rapid City and hasn't been back in a number of years. It's beautiful up there, and she's been wanting to take me back for a long time.
Unfortunately, my mileage base won't be where I want it to be by the time it comes around. I'm still coming off of an injured foot from April, and my long runs are no more than 10 right now.
I'm planning on a marathon in February or March next year at the earliest, with the Atlanta Half marathon in November as my goal for the fall. I just have to run 'em without pain.
October '04 is likely, though.

I'm interested......but have the training problem like gman.......I haven't totally ruled it out however if I start ramping mileage late summer and test out the "better undertrained than overtrained" theory. I've read that this is a fast course......however.....I'm ???? if I would be "pushed". I'm also getting a push to do the full at Fox Cities rather than 1/2......by request of my neighborhood.
......but since I am due out that way in a few weeks.....I might have the urge to return.....never know
