Quick update: Friday, May 28, I slide my motorcycle underneath a car on the highway.
Saturday afternoon, I got the bike repaired. I hoped to get it repaired Friday so that one week after the accident, I was back out on the bike. I bought a new, brighter headlight and am working on getting a light bar to put more lights on the front of my bike. I want to make it more visible so that I don't hear, "I didn't see you" anymore.
I have been able to start running again. The sore ankle is doing very well.
I just did over 250 miles on the motorcycle yesterday and it felt great. I'm even looking at doing a 700 mile, 3-state, motorcycle trip in the next couple weeks. It will all be 2-lane or 4-lane highway, no interstate. All during the day, no night riding.
