http://www.intel.com/products/mobiletechnology/unwiredcolleges.htm
Intel did a survey of wireless access on college campuses. Purdue ranked #2 in the nation! Unfortunatly, IU was #1 .
If you college offers wireless, do you take advantage of it? How about your work environment?
Personally, I used the wireless everyday I was at Purdue. It is a great resource to look up more information on a topic also to look at unrelated stuff during a boring class
At work, we don't currently have wireless access. I can see the entire high school becoming wireless capable in the next couple years.

Some of the Grad schools I am looking at are wireless. My undergrad school wasn't wireless when I was there, I don't think they are now either

LSU is 29th on that list. They've got wireless in the quad, CEBA, the library, union... most major buildings. I don't use it right now because I haven't gotten my wireless card for my laptop.

Back in the stone age of computers and the internet Purdue was barely wired for the internet! Not that it didn't matter since I didn't have a PC.
