Whoa, now! I hate most of the big flix (Titanic comes immediately to mind). But as a reader of JRR Tolkiens series many times (starting in the 3rd grade), I was pleasently surprised with the movie. Although, as the books go, The Fellowship of the Rings was the slowest. I am anti-theatre (I prefer my home theatre), I saw Fellowship opening night last year! Buffy was equally impressed with the movie.

Got my Best Buy on at lunch. DVD player is in the car, ready to be hooked up. We had to take back Sopranos since it was due, but I think we will watch Monster's Ball tonight.

well, i guess. you Tolkien fan, you. i read the Hobbit.
everyone in the Lord of the rings needed a bath. the old man with long gray hair was icky central. i imagined i could smell him.

this movie was as good as the 1st one was awful

We havent rented in a long time but we did buy Star Wars Episode II on release day for 10 bucks from Toys R Us! We just watched that last night and it was pretty good.
