On saturday and sunday I run with a group in a big park with a lake. On one of our runs a few years back we found a body in the lake!
The one side of the lake has a spillway which is right where we turn for our usually run,and we noticed something in the water. When we all got closer--well, there was the body. We flagged down a car and they brought the police. We found out later it was an old man who was very depressed because his wife had passed away a few months before and just walked right into the lake(this was during the winter and the water was freezing). They ruled the death a suicide. Very sad...

Once when my husband, then boyfriend, were walking on campus we noticed that there was a horrible rotting smell in the air ...it smelled way worse than it usually did and the stench grew even worse by the ROTC building where we were headed. Turns out, a student had gotten really high and jumped off the building the night before.
That's really sad about the man who lost his wife.

Wow, how terrible!
I don't think I've ever found anything remotely interesting yet? Which may be a good thing, no?
