I hate.hate.hate any holiday commerical that comes on before the Thanksgiving Turkey's corpse is chillin in the icebox.

I hate the same commercials that are dusted off year after year. For instance there is the same commercial for the PA lottery that is like 15 years old.

I hate hate hate any commercial that implies women are shallow and materialistic and the only way to get their love is to buy it (with diamonds, Jaguars, or whatever). I REALLY hate it at Valentine's Day when ALL the commercials are about how the guy will get out of the doghouse as long as he buys his sweetums jewelry.
Don't women buy gifts for their men??

The Lexus commercial with the Golden is totally wrong. If that was a true Golden, he'd have gotten in the car and would be leaning on the horn.
You are right on the old commercials being repeated to death. Sole exception: the Norelco spot with Santa riding around on the shaver. That one still rocks!

I am tired of all the jewelry commericals, that insist that the wimmins want diamonds or other expensive jewelry this year. In another month they will start again, with Valentine's Day, then a few months after that, for Mother's Day.

This is too true...this bothers BC every time. He comments about how "whipped" the guy is that he can't pick out his own car. Funny, I just saw her as being sweet and generous, but if that's how a man can see it, I can see he's not sold on their product.
