What about a person who lies to his country he supposedly loves to justify a war he’s determined to have. I take marital infidelity seriously, but at least Clinton’s family were the only ones hurt because of his lies.
Melissa did a very good job of summing up why Bush may be religious but not truly moral. |
Clinton lied to weasel out of it, it wasn't to spare Hillary's feelings. Bush....I don't know if he lied or not. I do believe it's a war that he believes in. Did Clinton really believe that he didn't have sex with "woman"? I've lied to this entire forum about something.....yep I did. It was easy. I guess that makes me amoral.

I agree, we were just talking about this last night. |
here's a simple example: one of the rules for evangelical christians is that they are to attend church regularly. For some very strict evangelicals, this means attending every service that their church offers, for others it means every sunday morning, and for some less strict it means, as many as one can with the understanding that sometimes illness, or a job may interfere with attendance. From my own upbringing, my father would not allow us to miss church at all, so every sunday morning, sunday evening and wednesday evening we attended church services, we also attended every special service and revival campaign (7-10 nights of services). My father still finds it 'necessary' to attend at least 3x per week. NOW, here's the inconsistency, knowing that fundamentalists/evangelicals expect a heavy time commitment to church services, why do they excuse George "W" from attending any church at all? W doesn't go to church
Please hear me when I say that this doesn't make him unGodly!!!!! but it doesn't explain to me why so many who use church attendance as a measure of a person's spirituality continue to embrace this man as such a "Godly" leader.

Because he is anti-choice, pro-faith based initiatives, against meaningful stem cell research and against gay marriage.
