Not a good month for me mileage-wise....
86.2 miles at a 7:29 avg. pace 4.3 miles avg. per run
Lingering injury issues forced a cutback on speedwork and lsd. It seems to be working though because I feel better now than I have since early spring.

running: 220.5M. Just a mile short of last month's highest monthly mileage ever; amazed I could keep up the momentum despite heavy race schedule, super busy life, and nearly constant fatigue. Was much smarter about taking extra rest days when my body screamed for them than I've ever been. Though it's getting much harder to fit in all the runs I need.
swimming: 5,540 yards. Pathetic and desperately needs work.
cycling: 67M, thanks solely to a sprint tri and the 1/2 IM that wasn't.
misc: 4 weekly sets of 25 inverted pushups was all I could manage. I really need ab work.
races: huge month for me; raced every weekend. Sprint tri, 1/2 IM that became the greatest duathlon ever (with 8K PR), half marathon PR, 10K PR. Managed first sub 9 miles ever. Raced smart, hard, organized, and safe. Fantastic racing month.

105.1 miles
13:38:47
Average pace 7:47
20 runs, average run 5.26 miles
To give you an idea of how bad my training has been all year, this is the first month that I've topped 100 miles. Due to shingles I cut back my running for a week and a half - I'd guess that cut out about 20-25 miles. I am still no where near where I want to be, but I'm finally starting to feel stronger. I need to sit down in the next few days and really readjust my goals. I've got an idea of what's possible in the remaining 3 months, but I'm not sure where I'll go with it.

290 - Or at least it should be in a couple hours after today's run. Most of it was very slow, as I'm just going for base mileage right now.
That isn't nearly as good as I wanted. I really felt 350 was a realistic goal for this month, but I missed 8 runs this month, including 2 long runs in a row. I'll try again in October, and hopefully hit more like 375.
